A Message From the Teacher
Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool program. This program was made possible by people who really care about the children in our church and community. This year is going to be a fantastic year full of firsts and many great experiences of working and learning together. I’d like to introduce myself first of all. I was born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Rev. K. W. and Carol Biedenbender. I have 2 brothers and 5 sisters, myself being the 7th child. I attended St Matthew’s Lutheran Grade School in Benton Harbor, MI. Michigan Lutheran High School (‘87) in St Joseph, MI. and Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN. graduating in 1991 with a Bachelors Degree in Education. I began my career teaching in the 1st and 2nd grades at Trinity Lutheran School in Marinette until 1995. I then was a substitute teacher for area public and private schools in Marinette, Menominee and Peshtigo for 6 years until receiving my call to serve here at Trinity, Coleman in 2002. I also have pursued a part time career in pharmacy since 2001 and currently am employed part-time at Walgreen’s in Marinette. I married Marvin (Butch) Henry in 1995 and live on Hwy 64 In Marinette. We share the responsibilities of raising Butch’s daughter, Caitlin, who is a blessing to our family along with 3 dogs, Bailey, Tyke and Gysmo. Pharmacy is my job and teaching is my passion. As you will see throughout the year, your children will be loved, shown passion, and given every opportunity I can possible give them to grow in the faith and instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are now taking applications for the '11-'12 school year. Children ages 3, 4 and 5 are eligible to attend. Children must be 3 by September 1st, 2011 to enter the 3 year-old program.
