 1.  ADULT  BIBLE  CLASS - This class is a prerequisite for membership and is conducted about three times a year.  It lasts from 10-20 weeks, covering the main Christian teachings.

2.  ALTAR  FLOWERS  - You may sign up (bulletin board in narthex) to sponsor flowers for a particular Sunday.  (Contact:  the office at 897-3422 for procedure and cost.)  There is also a committee which is responsible for putting up and taking down the altar flowers each service.  (Contact the Ladies’ Aid president)

3.  ASSEMBLE  NEWSLETTERS - You can be a volunteer to help our church secretary send out our monthly newsletter.  (congregational & prospective members).  (Contact:  the office at 897-3422)

4.  AUDIO / VISUAL COMMITTEE: You can help keep Trinity’s audio visual equipment current and run the big screen on designated Sundays.

5.  AUDITING  COMMITTEE - Each year a committee is appointed to review the financial integrity of our books.   (Contact:  Church Council President or Treasurer)

6.    BUILDING  COMMITTEE - This appointed committee  oversees tentative plans for future construction. 

7.  CHOIRS  -  The Sunday School children sing once a month (September thru May).  The Adult Choir (confirmed members) meets each week for a one-hour rehearsal.  (Contact:  Pastor Stahlecker)

8.  CHURCH  CLEAN-UP - Approximately twice a year (spring & fall), members are asked to pitch in to assist the custodians and trustees in a major cleaning of the church.

9.  CHURCH  PICNIC - Annually, a picnic (with games for the kids) is held on the church grounds to enhance church unity.  This is scheduled for the Sunday following the end of Vacation Bible School in July.   (Contact:  watch for bulletin/newsletter/announcements)

10.  CHURCH  COUNCIL - The "Church Council" is made up of the elected officers and Pastor.  It meets monthly to oversee and conduct the church's business.    (Contact:  Church Council President)

11.  CHRISTMAS  DECORATING - Each December volunteers overseen by the Church Council are invited to make our church look festive.   (Contact:  Church Council President)

12.  CONFIRMATION  CLASS - Pastor Stahlecker teaches this class (6th, 7th & 8th graders) which is a prerequisite for becoming a communicant member of the church.  (Contact: Pastor Stahlecker)

13.  CONFIRMATION CLASS MENTORS  – You can help the confirmation class learn their memory work by being a mentor.     (Contact: Pastor Stahlecker)

14.  CRADLE  ROLL - This program ensures that parents of young children (pre-Sunday School) receive printed parenting helps.  (Contact:  the office at 897-3422)

15.  ELDERS - Four elders assist the pastor in overseeing the spiritual life of the members.  If you are in spiritual need, or simply have questions, contact an elder, or Pastor Stahlecker.

16.  EVANGELISM - These people oversee and encourage outreach with the Gospel of Jesus.

17.  FELLOWSHIP - Activities include various potlucks throughout the year.  It's a great way to meet people.  Watch the newsletter and bulletins for special events.

18.  FINANCE - This position oversees the counting and recording of offerings.

19. FOLDERS -  Each week bulletins are printed containing information that pertains to the worship service as well as other announcements.  They need to be assembled each week.  The folders also help assemble  the newsletter each month.  (contact:  the office at 897-3422)

20.  FURNISHINGS - Members who like to donate various items to the church ( offices, etc).

21.  GREETERS - You and your family are invited to be on a rotating list of members who greet worshipers each Sunday.  (Contact:  the office at 897-3422)

22.  LIBRARY A selection of helpful Christian books is available in our library.

23.  LADIES' AID - This group meets monthly on the first Thursday at 12:00 noon for a Potluck, Bible study, fellowship, service and to make friends.  (Contact:  Ladies' Aid President)

24.  LUTHERAN WOMEN'S MISSIONARY SOCIETY   (LWMS) - All Ladies of our congregation are automatically members in this group.  This is a WELS national organization which promotes WELS missions at home and abroad.  Our circuit (Lake Superior) meets twice each year for an informational rally.  There's a national convention each summer.

25.  MAILBOXES - Every family has a mailbox with the name posted above it located in the narthex.  From time to time information will be passed out via your mailbox.

26.  MEMORIALS - Members like to make donations (money, and/or furnishings, etc) in loving memory of someone.      (Contact:  Church Council President or the Pastor)

27.  MUSIC - We desire to include talented musicians and vocalists in our worship.

28.  NURSERY - Sound from the church is piped into the cry room and is available during the worship services.

29.  OFFERING ENVELOPES - Each year all confirmed members receive a box of offering envelopes.  Besides special events, each box contains two types of envelopes: "General Fund" and "Debt Fund".  General Fund offerings cover the operating expenses of the church, while the Debt Fund will cover our existing debt from the building project plus debt incurred by not meeting our monthly expenses.

30.  OFFICE VOLUNTEERS - Occasionally the church secretary could use help (assembly and copying).   (Contact:  the office at 897-3422)

31.  OPEN FORUMS  – Four times a year an Open Forum is held immediately after the service.  This is your opportunity to bring your comments and concerns to the Church Council and the congregation.

32.  PRE-MARITAL CLASS - Before making wedding plans, (Contact:  Pastor Stahlecker)

33.  PRE-SCHOOL - Pre-School is available for three and four year olds.

34.  SHEPHERDS’ COMMITTEE  – This committee is concerned with reaching out to the members of Trinity who have become dormant in their partaking of the Lord’s Supper and/or their church attendance and activity.  (Contact: Church Council Elders chairperson)

35.  SPIRITUAL EDUCATION   (ADULT)   Join Us!

a.  Adult Bible Study - every Sunday after the service

b.  Doctrine Refresher Courses - offered 3 times a year.

c.  Topical Bible Studies -  from time to time –  (times to be announced).

36.  STEWARDSHIP - This board is elected for the purpose of encouraging all members to give generously for the Lord's work, and to use our time and talents to serve Him.

37.  STUDENT ASSISTANCE - Assistance is available for students attending St. John's Lutheran elementary school or a Synod preparatory school.  Some members like to support God's work by helping students who are studying to become church workers.  You may earmark special contributions to this fund.

38.  SUGGESTIONS - You're encouraged to forward your ideas and suggestions to the Church Council or place them in the box marked "Suggestions" in the narthex.

39  SUNSHINE COMMITTEE - This is a sub-committee of the Ladies' Aid.  (Contact:  Ladies' Aid president)

40.  SUNDAY MORNINGS - The Bible commands us to hear God's Word, fellowship with other believers, and to study God's Word together. 

Our Sunday morning schedule provides all three.

a.  Worship Service - 9:00 a.m.

b.  Sunday School - 10:15 a.m.

c.  Bible Study ( Adult and Teen ) - 10:15 a.m.

41.  TAPE MINISTRY - Cassette recordings of our worship services are available.

42.  TEENS GROUP - This group includes our high school students.  A weekly Bible class is provided and a monthly fellowship with activities.  Each summer they attend our WELS regional and international youth rallies   (Contact:  the office at 897-3422)

43.  TRUSTEES (MAINTENANCE) - This elected board serves to oversee and maintain our properties and facilities.  (Contact:  Church Council Maintenance chairperson)

44.  USHERS - Our ushers are to maintain order and decency so that the worshiper's communion with God  and the administration of Word and Sacraments may be promoted and to promote good public relations for the congregation by conveying a positive, friendly, genuinely caring impression to guests.  (Contact:  Church Council member in charge of Elders)

45.  VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - A one week VBS is conducted each summer.  Many helpers are needed. (Contact:  Church Council member in charge of Education)

46.  VOTERS' MEETINGS - Voting members of our church meet quarterly (and as needed) to make major decisions.  It is your right and responsibility as a male member (age 18 and over) to attend.

47.  WELS  WOMEN'S RETREAT - Each year an inspirational women's retreat is held.  It includes women from our Northern Wisconsin District of the WELS.  (Contact:  the office at 897-3422)

48.  WILLS - Members often have questions regarding how to make their will a "Christian Will", remembering to support God's work with their assets.  (Contact:  WELS Ministry of Christian Giving 1-800-827-5482 or Pastor Stahlecker)

49.  YOUNG CHRISTIANS - This group includes children in kindergarten through 8th grade.  They meet once a month (Sept thru May).  (Contact:  Church Council member in charge of Education)

50.  TRANSPORTATION - This group provides rides to our services and fellowship.
