Rounded Rectangle: ADVENT SERVICE SCHEDULE Mid Week Advent Services begin Wednesday evening, November 30th at 7:00 p.m. Before the services there will be a supper sponsored by various groups. All are invited to attend. Besides offering us an additional worship opportunity, these services have as their express purpose to help us prepare for a God-pleasing celebration of Christmas. Pastor Stahlecker , Pastor Learmann, and Pastor Myslik will be conducting the services. CHRISTMAS Rehearsals Christmas rehearsals for the Sunday school Christmas Eve services continue on Saturday mornings from 9:30 a.m. and end at 11:00 a.m. Songs and recitations have been distributed in Sunday school. Parents, please help your children learn their songs and recitations at home. The more you are able to help your children at home, the more time we can spend at church actually rehearsing instead of just memorizing. Thank you. Children's services are scheduled for 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. on December 24. It is important that all the children participate in both services. We will be providing a light lunch for them between the services. We will also be able to provide transportation to or from either service. Contact your child's teacher for more information. As we celebrate this joyous Christmas, remember that you have brothers and sisters all over the world, sharing our joy of the birth of Jesus, our Savior! Although many of us will never meet these siblings in Christ here on earth, we will raise praises together in heaven one day. Be JOYFUL in hope, PATIENT in affliction, FAITHFUL in prayer. YOUNG CHRISTIANS – Dec 11th Christmas Party We’ll celebrate the birth of our Savior. Fun for all! Parents are invited too! CHRISTMAS CAROLING Join us in caroling to the area nursing homes and our shut-ins on Sunday, December 11th. We will meet in the church parking lot at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited. USED ORGAN GIVE-AWAY Anyone wishing to take the old organ please feel free to do so! LADIES’ AID Our next meeting will be held on January 5th. We will meet at the Station House for lunch and then return to church for our meeting and desert. All ladies of the congregation are invited to attend. It is that time of year again to think about when to cancel worship services, other meetings or activities. If the Weather is Bad... Your Church Council has decided that if there is a *Winter Storm ADVISORY activities will continue as normal. If there is a *Winter Storm WARNING activities will be cancelled. Announcements will be made on: Radio: WOCO 1260 AM & 107.1 FM TV: Channel 11 (FOX) BIBLE PASSAGE for BACK WALL The passage chosen for the back wall at the Voters’ meeting was : “Be faithful, even to the point of death and I will give you the crown of Life” Rev 2:10 Cemetery Association Meeting The Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting on Monday, December 5th at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Roger Prestine on Belgium Road. This association, incorporated separately from the congregation, oversees the care and maintenance of our church cemetery. All members of the congregation and all lot owners are considered members of this association and are invited to attend this meeting.
