Rounded Rectangle: WELS Connection The August edition of the WELS Connection video will be shown on Sunday, August 1st. Copies of this WELS Connection video and other tapes may be checked out of our library. TRINITY’S PRE-SCHOOL is still accepting registrations for the ‘10-‘11 school year. There is room for one more student - first come basis. Class will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., beginning September 7th. Children ages 3, 4 and 5 are eligible to attend. (Children must be 3 by September 1st, 2010.) The tuition fee is $250.00 per child per year for WELS members and $300.00 per child per year for non-WELS members payable in full by December 1st. A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee will be applied towards the tuition of your child. If you know of a child who would like to attend, please contact the office, Pastor Stahlecker or Mrs Henry. Brewers Trip The trip to the Brewers home game on August 12th has been cancelled. 6th Grade Catechism Parents Meeting The parents of all 6th graders entering into Catechism class this year are asked to attend a meeting with Pastor Stahlecker on Sunday, August 15th at 10:15 a.m. Did You Know ... HOME MISSION – Victory Lutheran Church Brent Bitter: birthdate January 18 13089 Harborton Dr Jacksonville, FL 32224-8499 E-mail: Brent bitter@victorylutheran.org Victory Lutheran church started in 1998 and has built a church, has about 150 members and started a pre-school. They have been very blessed by God. In 2010 they will no longer receive WELS mission funding and will be a self-supporting congregation. Their biggest challenge will be to reduce their debt to a more manageable number. check newsletter file STOP in the LIBRARY We have a really good library here at Trinity. I encourage everyone to use it. If you want to take a book or video out all you have to do is fill out the card inside the book with your name. Then put the card in the basket and take your book or video home. Then when you are done, return it to the library by putting it in the basket marked returned books. Easy to do. Encourage your children to use the library – summer is a great time to read. Lots of good reading waiting for you. Till next month – have fun reading.
